Cutler Station serve up sizzling new album Meat, No Sides, out July 31

Cutler Station, the unorthodox yet affable indie-rock four-piece out of Vincent, OH, return with their sizzling new album, Meat, No Sides, out July 31. The new 10-track LP — recorded, mixed and mastered themselves — is an all-you-can-eat buffet of power-pop tunes bursting with rock ‘n’ roll flavor and marinated in the weirdness of working-class Appalachian life.

At the core of each track is a no-fluff recipe of fresh, jittery authenticity and warm, jaunty accessibility. Dual-wielding pedal steel and synth throughout, the band of decades-long friends simmer with a controlled nervous energy — think the corporeal melodic intensity of Guided By Voices paired with the brainy oddness of Devo, all dressed in a smattering of ultra-aware country-western, a la Tyler Childers.

Having performed alongside nationally touring acts like Ona, Adam Remnant and Wayne Graham, Cutler Station hope to finish out the year touring the new album after its July 2020 release.
