INTERVIEW: The Currents Talks Live Video
The Currents are a young new Toledo Ohio band who show a lot of promise with their newest releases, a series of live acoustic performances from Bigfoot Studio. There are remnants of the 90s coming through here, but the most unique stand out moment is their cover of The Cure’s “In Between Days”. Singer Luis Gomez showcases a sincere, almost naive, subtle vocal styling that is immediately pleasing and hypnotizing, one can only hope and imagine what other melodies he’s got of his own on the backburner that will continue to grow with the trajectory of the band. We sat down with the band to ask a couple questions about the sessions and what they have in store for us.
